Tana founded Day Of Wedding Nola & Events after nearly a decade of planning and managing nonprofit events. Seeing friends overwhelmed by wedding stress, she realized her experience could help couples enjoy their day instead of worrying about details. Her mission is simple: let us handle the logistics so you can stay fully in the moment. Dedicated to giving back to the New Orleans community she loves, Tana also offers free event planning services for local nonprofits.
When she’s not planning events, she’s reading, writing, or hiking with her two very adorable dogs.
Marissa Hogan,
Wedding Coordinator
Marissa Hogan has worked in hospitality/tourism and event management for over 10 years. She worked for various Hilton and Marriott hotels implementing events within their food and beverage outlets. She also has experience in the nonprofit sector working to support and oversee events.
Currently, Marissa works as the Operations Manager for Wednesday at the Square with a team of volunteers and production members. She has worked for events in New Orleans like Super Bowl LIX, New Orleans Food and Wine Experience, and Rock ’n’ Roll Marathon. She has a B.A. in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University and an M.S. in Executive Leadership with a focus on Hospitality/Tourism.
